Cellulite is a disorder which affects the dermis and superficial layer of fatty tissue, influenced by multiple factors (hormonal, genetic, racial, nutritional, etc.) and is a chronic condition. It is divided into three different stages: Stage I, or edematous cellulite: the sign of "orange peel" skin, observable only when pinching; Stage II, or soft cellulite: visible "orange peel" skin and palpable micro-modules; Stage III, or hard/fibrous cellulite: notable "orange peel" skin, macro-nodules, and skin retraction.ENDERMOLOGIE (LPG®)Using negative pressure, a suction and rhythmic kneading mechanism is created, which massages and thereby stimulates the dermis, by way of lymphatic drainage, and kneads subcutaneous fibrous pathways. It is effective against all cellulite, especially hard or fibrous cellulite, where improvements of "orange peel" skin and smoothing of the skin can usually be observedPRESSOTHERAPYThis consists in pneumatic leggings with multiple compartments, permitting the application of cyclic positive pressure. This system facilitates venous return and drainage of fluids. It is especially well suited to edematous (or stage I) cellulite, and edemas caused by venous insufficiency (poor circulation).CARBOXYTHERAPYLipolysis (the breakdown of fats) in carboxytherapy treatment is widely known and has been demonstrated. Subcutaneous insufflation of CO₂ distends the tissues, releasing different substances which trigger this fat-burning. The role of this therapy is increasingly important in the treatment of cellulite, due to the good results observed.CORPORAL MESOTHERAPYThis consists in intradermal injection of active substances, which fight cellulite through vascular, lipolytic ("fat-burning"), or anti-fibrotic activity. Injections are multiple and of a minimum depth of about four millimeters. They are made a rate of one per week, and the number of sessions varies according to the results, which may be assessed from the third or fourth session.
