Abrasion of the skin's topmost layer and its consequent replacement with a new layer of better quality, allows the removal of most superficial blemishes on the skin, found in the tissue we eliminate and replace. This abrasion is performed in a controlled manner, by applying a minimally abrasive chemical substance which triggers desquamation of the skin, a kind of "peeling" which eliminates the outermost layer of skin, and thereby makes way for new, better quality skin.
